There’s a lot of information that I want to share with you. Recently, I’ve been going through an intense period in my life because I’ve moved my house and many things have accumulated at the same time. However, this doesn’t mean that nothing is happening about the Almora project and its plans.
I’ll try to briefly describe the further action plan in points.
I’m at the stage of setting up a test version in the Apple Store. A lot of testers have contacted me, thanks to which I will be able to test the whole game and all its aspects.
This will be my debut for the Apple Store, I have never put a game there before, so the release of the game on iOS stretches over time. Unfortunately, Apple for developers is not a friendly environment…
Internal testing was due to start in early April this year, but there was a slight delay and testing should start in late April. However, in May, I plan the official launch of Almora for iOS in the Apple Store.
This is a topic that will be rolled out right after the iOS release. New modes will give hardcore gamers the opportunity to complete the game again in the new mode. The game modes will differ in terms of limitations and difficulty levels, more information is available in this news:

In fact, this is a topic that I haven’t mentioned anything aloud, but I’m still working on. Character professions will be added to Almora, there will be some free ones and some for Premium Account holders. Professions will be unlocked after reaching a certain level in the game and you will be able to choose which profession you want to play, e.g. Barbarian, Traveler, Thief etc. Each profession will have additional passive skills.
More information on this will be available in June 2022.
As I mentioned in the previous news, due to the great interest in the game, I decided to create an add-on to Almora, i.e. an extension to the basic game.
This is the biggest and most difficult task because it involves a huge amount of time, reflection and testing. At the moment, a scenario for the further fate of the island of Almora is being prepared and the only thing I can say at this stage is that it promises to be a really interesting gameplay.
Unfortunately, my Facebook account was blocked because I was a victim of fraud and my login details were stolen. I’m also trying to recover them at the moment and it’s not easy. Most likely, I won’t be able to get my account back because Facebook totally ignores users and has a terrible support center, which is basically the lack of one, but the case went to the police and I hope something gets better.
I will probably end up creating a new account and creating a new Almora facebook website (I wish I had the whole story there…), but I will do my best to prevent that from happening. In addition, I also plan to launch a website on Twitter and launch a YouTube channel.
I would like to remind you that I have a YouTube channel:
The channel on which I mainly ran live broadcasts of games (also Almora) and other content, not only in the form of streams.
It’s time to clean up the channel and I am thinking of creating a special series that would be a video blog about the creation / modernization of the Almora Darkosen project.
If you think it’s a good idea, I encourage you to subscribe to the channel and write in a comment if you want me to put such videos from Almora on the channel 🙂

As you can see, there is a lot of work to do, and I’m still working on the game alone. Thanks to the moderator (@dontworryseba) and the rest of the Discord users for all help in running the channel and helping other players. Without you, it would be a lot harder for me. I’ll try to write back to everyone and help as much as I can, but a day has only 24 hours, of which I have to work 8 hours and another 8 hours to sleep 🙂

I am pleased to announce that Google Cloud Save is now available in the latest version of the game. I would like to remind you that CloudSave is used to transfer the game to another device or restore the game after uninstalling the application.

When you are logged in to Google Services: CloudSave is overwritten automatically during the game or when you click “Save Game”.
I am currently working on the iOS version. I’m almost finished and if there aren’t any major problems, it should officially be released at the end of January ’22.
This will be my first iOS game, so I hope it will be fine 🙂
In the meantime, I’m finishing my plan for new game modes, and it will remain to translate everything into 12 languages (currently)
